One More Cruise Blog
What is next for me and crusing? Well, got home to a brochure from Princess that made my heart beat with lust, and no, it wasn’t because of the pastry case on board. It was the itinerary.
Firstly, I have cruised the Mediterranean. About seven years ago, I left my husband at home and roomed with my two sisters as we accompanied my parents on a Holland America cruise through the Med and the Greek Isles. We started at Barcelona… I fell in love. Rome, Santorini, Mykonos, Ephesis, Athens… Yeah, awesome cruise. I gaped at the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, I gazed out over Athens from the Acropolis, I strolled through the ruins at Ephesis… Shared peach tea near the shore in Katakolon…
But no husband.
Now, Princess is offering a cruise next year on their new ship, the Royal Princess…starts in Barcelona. Ends in Venice, where the DH has always wanted to visit…
Ah… Eventually I want to cruise the tip of South America…but this would be such a fabulous itinerary… So, here I am, dreaming of the next cruise…
Now…how to finance this…

Yeah, Cindy. Ephesus was incredible. We had such an incredible day there…and pictures that look a lot as if I’m the only one there… These bright red poppies were in bloom all over the place.
I’ve been through the eastern half of the Panama Canal and back into the Caribbean…pretty sweet!
