Winner! And EEEEEK!

Donna! My good friend, the Random Number Generator, has awarded you a pink pirate sticker! I think I  have your addy, but will contact you to verify and get this sticker in the mail to you!

Meanwhile…I’m taking the day off and going to the RenFaire… Once I’m back in the present time, I will post some pics.

Update on The Pirate Circus edits? Slow going. But at least it’s going.

You know, it’s just been one of those weeks, too much on the brain, feel like I’m spinning in place right now. Lay down to sleep at night and can feel my eyeballs darting around under my eyelids… I have no idea what I’m looking at. I’m not thinking of particular things…granted, I have a lot on my mind. What to pack for Moonlight&Magnolias, what to do to get ready for RT. In April. And RomCon, in June, and since I’m a nominee for a Bookie, maybe Authors After Dark, in August. (Vote for me!) And I still have those edits to do.

Oh, and I’m taking a sewing class. And trying to put a newsletter together…and Decadent Publishing released my new book, Something Different, on Friday. And they’ll be releasing The Chameleon Goggles on October 20.

And…

And…

And.

I desperately need some totally unplugged time. Thinking about a break in October, after the release. Spend a few days on Catalina Island… Or a month. I might like a month…

What do you do to relax? And turn the spinning brain off…?

One Comment:

  1. I’ve cut way back on my obligations. I also don’t fret about stuff far out in the future. Much. I’d never be thinking about an April of June conference now. Heck, I have a conference next week and still haven’t finalized the packing list. But then, I’m not published.

All the new obligations that come with being published scare the bejesus out of me. Blog tours and promo and push push push. Makes being unplug seem downright relaxing.
